Day 1
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport by 11:00 AM. Meet the team and begin your scenic drive to Yuksom (approx. 6 hours, 150 km). Reach by evening and check-in. Attend trek briefing session covering itinerary, gear, and safety guidelines.
Begin the trek from Yuksom to Sachen (2,255m). Walk through dense forests of oak, chestnut, and rhododendron. Cross wooden bridges over the Prek Chu river. The trail offers rich biodiversity with birds, butterflies, and moss-covered landscapes.
Trek from Sachen to Tshoka via Bakhim. Cross suspension bridges and climb through steep forest trails. Witness first views of snow-covered peaks like Mt. Pandim. Reach Tshoka village surrounded by prayer flags and scenic mountain views.
Trek from Tshoka to Dzongri via Phedang through alpine meadows and rhododendron forests. Experience challenging ascents with rewarding views of Himalayan peaks like Kabru and Pandim.
Early morning hike to Dzongri Top (4,200m) for breathtaking sunrise views. Witness the famous alpenglow over Mt. Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Kabru, and surrounding peaks. Spend time exploring the area and descend back.
Descend from Dzongri to Tshoka through scenic alpine trails and blooming rhododendron forests. Enjoy views of valleys, wildlife, and peaceful mountain landscapes.
Trek back from Tshoka to Yuksom through forest trails, river crossings, and waterfalls. Reach Yuksom and relax after completing the trek. Celebrate your successful journey.
Drive from Yuksom to Bagdogra/NJP (8–9 hours). Enjoy scenic views of tea gardens and valleys during the journey. Trip ends with unforgettable memories of the Kanchenjunga trek.
